KaysCase is Launching ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 Product Line

I really enjoy using this press release kind of title. It sounds like the whole company worked for months for a new product line and it is finally released, while all the consumers, the whole industry, and wall streets are waiting. Actually this is an easy one.

We have a supplier who has worked with us for a few years. They are a leather factory, who has manufactured a couple lines of leather products for us. We worked together closely on the design and implementation of the FlipSmart and 2-piece Detachable iPad cases in the past couple months, and a few days ago, their sales manager asked me if I want to extend the product line to ASUS Transformer Pad TF300.

I know ASUS just released the ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 not too long ago, and as far as I know it is made by a Taiwanese company, they are as expensive as the iPad, and it’s still a little hard to get in retail stores in the US. Why would ASUS release another similar Pad, right after the new iPad?

I went to Best Buy and took a look at the Pad, and it was awesome. The design is cool. It’s very thin. Thinner than the iPad, and it’s light. According to the a report released today, the battery life is pretty long, and according to the sales guy at Best Buy, the Pad has got tons of great features, and it is good for either business or serious fun, aka, games. Just like the TF201, it can be docked to a matching keyboard, and turn into a laptop. That’s how it got the name Transformer.

I want to know more about the Pad, so I went to YouTube, and found this video to compare TF201 and TF300, and now I’m more familar with the difference of the two Pad, and at what kind of customers they are targeting. I even posted a question as a comment for Lisa Gade, the lady who gave the review, and asked her opinion if this Pad will sell well in US, and I got her affirmative answer.

Here’s an engadget.com review by Dana Wollman of the TF300 pad. It’s very thorough and detailed. Check it out:

As for my own team, most of the guys are gamers or gadget lovers, and they love that the Pad can be used together with a keyboard. They are all rooting for this product.

So, there you go, we are launching the FlipStand case product line, (Can’t call it FlipSmart since the ASUS TF300 does not have a magnet to support auto on/off as the iPad) and the Addon keyboard case line, along with a couple screen protectors. Since we were working on similar products for the iPad with the factory, they could easily add these lines to their production, and we will have these cases ready in about a week!

All products are ready for pre-order on Amazon right now. Please check it out.
